UNESCO World Heritage sites in India

The world is beautiful and it has so much to see, the gazing mountains, the sky touching monuments, the sparkling rivers, so let’s see some of the heritage sites in India which are my favourites.

You will love them for travelling and exploring. You can go with your friends and family.

Tajmahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, it’s a sign of love of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan towards his wife Mumtaz Mahal,it was built in the memory of his wife.

It is the most beautiful building in this whole world,a white marble beauty, the story behind this is love of a husband towards his wife.

When I was 14 years old,I went there and in my opinion I love it’s beauty which makes our hearts so happy and calm, this construction is a magnificent creation and we should see the beauty of it.

Agra Fort,Agra

The fort is made of red sandstone, within it’s 2.5 km walls. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can also see Taj Mahal from it’s balcony. It is also described as walled city.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway,Darjeeling

It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999

It is also called DHR or Toy Train, runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling in state of West Bengal.

Darjeeling is a beautiful city in West Bengal and the best part of here is the beautiful nature and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is the most beautiful things you will see there, it is like a toy ride, the green hills makes you adore this place. You can enjoy the Darjeeling Tea which is one of the famous things there.

Valley of flowers National Park,Chamoli

In 1982 it was declared as the National Park of India

If you love trekking so definitely you will enjoy there and the people like me who love flowers will also love this place, best for photography and much more, beautiful mountains with so much of greenery and I just wanted to go there as soon as possible,it is such a beauty.

Hill Forts of Rajasthan

It was selected by UNESCO to incite the culture of hilltop Rajput fort’s,it includes six forts-

  1. Chittor Fort, Chittorgarh
  2. Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh
  3. Ranthambore Fort, Sawai Madhopur
  4. Gagron Fort, Jhalawar
  5. Amer Fort, Jaipur
  6. Jaisalmer Fort, Jaisalmer

Every fort is different and unique in construction, the forts are located in the state of Rajasthan, they are a sign of fabulous architecture and the hilltop area makes them more glorious and beautiful.

Just enjoy the beauty of these sites, every place is unique and outstanding, they are splendid in its beauty.

I hope you also like these beautiful heritage sites, there are much more but these are my favourites.Thankyou for giving your time to read.
